His current position as Vice President of Marketing for NFG Broker in Davenport, Iowa, has allowed Johnathan Ahlf to achieve a level of success most people only ever dream of. Johnathan Ahlf's dedication and achievement will be appreciated soon when he travels to Washington D.C. to represent Iowa at the National Business Committee's annual meeting. While in Washington, Mr. Ahlf will dine with the President as well as network with other successful professionals from across the country.
A Great Start
Johnathan Ahlf has persevered and put in years of hard work to get where he is today. After earning a bachelor's in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell, Mr. Ahlf went on to graduate school at Hamilton University and earned a master's in Business Finance. Johnathan Ahlf's work ethic was evident even from this time, as he maintained a 3.7 grade point average at Cornell, and a straight 4.0 at Hamilton. The work ethic and dedication that characterized Mr. Ahlf's collegiate days carried into his business career.
When Johnathan Ahlf worked as a loan officer for Wells Fargo Bank, the organization was so impressed with his dedication and skill, he was selected to supervise the opening of a new branch of the bank. When Mr. Ahlf went on to own his own subsidiary of Cornerstone America, an insurance company, he was the top sales associate in his region for 11 successive months. While with Cornerstone, Johnathan Ahlf perfected his skills in sales by helping customers seek out and purchase what was best for them. Johnathan Ahlf became part of the organization's "Millionaire Round Table" and held his position there for four years.
Johnathan Ahlf's dedication is evident in his private life as well as his professional life. He has taken it upon himself to support a cause very dear to his heart - that of non-custodial parents' desire to see as much of their children as possible. Mr. Ahlf has participated in intensive training regarding this issue and works with an Iowa group, Fathers for Equal Rights, that advocates for changes in custody laws.
